How Christian Organizations Obscure the Gospel

Rosaria Butterfield, former lesbian activist and college professor turned Christian housewife and author, recently told a podcaster that when was beginning to make the rounds, she was coached by various conservative and Christian orgs to find the linguistic "middle way", to submit to "media training" and other such nonsense in an attempt to make the Gospel message more palatable. The end result? She admits such tone policing was a wash out. Her recommendation? Plain speaking of Gospel truth. Now, who has been saying this for years?
