One of the most popular pastors in America, Tony Evans, announced this past week that he would step down from the pastorate temporarily for a sin seemingly committed years ago. We thought it would be advantageous if we used the announcement to examine the process by which the adjudication of a pastor's moral failings, as practiced by the modern church, is biblical or not. A heady topic and one that is sure to riffle feathers.
